If you are interested in pottery, then the guild is for you! Whether you are a collector of pots, a professional potter, a student or just interested in studio pottery, you will find a warm welcome amongst others with similar interests.
We have regular, monthly, Friday evening meetings, at which well known potters come along to show slides, demonstrate their skills and talk about what they do. The atmosphere is informal and there is an opportunity to talk to other members during the evening, over a cup of tea or coffee. Guild meetings are usually held at Kings Langley Methodist Church Hall (adjacent to the Premier Lodge). Click here for street map link.

We also have several Workshops during the year, usually at weekends, with opportunities to learn about many aspects of pottery, including hand building, throwing, Raku, smoke firing, etc.
Our Open Day is a superb opportunity to have a whole day out and to see two or three demonstrations by leading professionals, with a chance to buy some of their work.
We have an annual exhibition at which members show and sell their work and several other events during the year at which your pots can be sold.
Our Newsletter is sent to members free of charge quarterly, and is a mine of information about future events, local activities, news, potters tips, articles and book reviews. From time to time the suppliers who advertise in our newsletter offer discounts to members.
The Guild is run by a small Committee of around 12 elected members together with a number of co-opted assistants.
Join us and take advantage of these opportunities! Just open the Membership Application Form (.pdf), print off, complete & send it with your cheque, you will be most welcome.
