'Of the Father's love begotten
Ere the worlds began to be,
He is Alpha and Omega
He the source the ending he,
Of the things that are, that have been,
And that future years shall see,
Evermore and evermore.'

Anita's Talking Pots are decorated with thick brush-strokes of coloured slips and underglazes, scraffito, words and decorative transfers which combine to produce a collage of life with spiritual and secular thems.

Artists Statement: I live in Mill Hill and am self-taught and have spent many years attending pottery classes. I was offered a teaching post part-time which I took for a few years. Iattended West Herts College and have taken City and Guilds Parts 1 and 2. In July I finished a PDD in ceramics having produced a body of work with a Christian theme. 'Of the Father's love begotten' is a hyme and can be found on many of the pots. Talking pots were made to remind people of God's continuing, unconditional love for them and to call them back to him.
