Anita's Talking Pots are decorated with thick brush-strokes of coloured slips and underglazes, scraffito, words and decorative transfers which combine to produce a collage of life with spiritual and secular thems. Artists Statement: I live in Mill Hill and am self-taught and have spent many years attending pottery classes. I was offered a teaching post part-time which I took for a few years. Iattended West Herts College and have taken City and Guilds Parts 1 and 2. In July I finished a PDD in ceramics having produced a body of work with a Christian theme. 'Of the Father's love begotten' is a hyme and can be found on many of the pots.
