Colin is largely self taught by master class observation. He produces thrown forms in stoneware with iron based glazes, oxidised fired in an electric kiln, often exposing the underlying body by partial glazing or wax resist design. Occasionaly he produces soda glazed pieces. Qualification as a chemist has fostered a keen interest in glaze formulation.
