Elizabeth is a self taught potter and a member of the Oxfordshire Guild of Craftsmen. She has taken part in many exhibitions and first started selling her pottery in 1978. Elizabeth's range of pottery is quite large, including pots for the garden and stoneware bowls with reactive glazes. At the moment Elizabeth is developing her earthenware range with which she has been experimenting over the past three years. She hand decorates her pots at the green ware stage, biscuit fires them to 1060° C then applies transparent glaze and fires to 1140° C. |
