Artists Statement:
I work with porcelain clay and casting slip alone, usually without
the use of glaze; enjoying the subtlety of tone and striking text
ture that I am able to achieve through this medium. Such simplicity
allows no distraction from the form. Some of the pieces here are
cast from plaster molds; others are thrown on the wheel and altered.
All the porcelain pieces are high-fired and therefore non-porous.
